Watermark Marine is a through-and-through South African company. While they do import high-end luxury pontoons boats, they do also build their very own model to fulfill a segment of the market they feel is lacking – which is a pontoon boat that feels American but costs far, far less. Naturally, there are some top of the range features you’ll have to do without, but that’s part and parcel of making a pontoon boat an option for you – and your wallet!
Deck layout
The Watermark 7500’s layout has the well-designed features and a decent level of fit and finish we’ve noted in imported boats. A ski tow bar on the transom elevates the tow rope above the outboard for water sports, and here you’ll also find a neat addition – a cocktail bar counter with concealed storage space, cup holders as well as fishing rod racks. When the sun is setting and the mood is right, this is just one of the places your party-going friends will want to hang out at. The bar is flanked by an easily removable counter top on the port side and a nifty boarding ladder which folds up and out of the water when not in use.
