The inaugural Summer Lifestyle and Boat Show to be held on the weekend of 31 October – 2 November at The Islands Estate at Hartbeespoort Dam is certainly not one to be missed – particularly for those northerners who can’t make the Cape Town Boat Show earlier this month!
Packed with entertainment, activities, demos and shiny displays of all things water and outdoor related, the Island Show is set to be one of the most exciting attractions this year. This is certainly the perfect location for a show of this calibre as the Islands Estate boasts a vast 6.5 km of navigable canals as well as ample space for exhibitors of all walks to present and demonstrate their wares.
Boaters can look forward to an array of craft on display, including wakeboats such as the new range of Malibu’s, MasterCrafts, Tige’s, Supra’s and Nautiques; recreational runabouts like the Angler inboard Panache and Odyssey range; luxury pontoon boats such as Avalon, Aqua Patio, Bennington, Suntracker, and many more. Every dealer will also be afforded the chance to flaunt and give in-depth talks about their ranges at designated times.
Engine manufacturers will of course be present and prospective engine shoppers can look forward to the official launch of the new Evinrude G2 Outboard Engine and the new lightweight Mercury 4-stroke range. Watersport enthusiasts will think they’ve touched down in paradise with a colossal variety of towable tubes, wakeboards, wake skates and surfboards, skiis, canoes and kayaks, as well as all the apparel and accessories to go with it.
