With the recent completion of the 47th Tuna Invitational, which took place at the Cape Boat and Ski Boat Club at Miller’s Point in Cape Town at the end of October, it is time to reflect on this great annual event where teams from around the country competed for the largest yellow fin tuna. Over the years, this tournament has formed a solid platform for both experienced and less experienced anglers to test their skills.
The camaraderie amongst the anglers is always a highlight of this competition and the generosity of the skippers who make their boats available is another aspect that deserves a mention.
