LOVE BOATING
Every boating experience transports you to a place far away from stresses and strains from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s an adventure and it allows you the freedom to play by your own rules. The daily grind takes a back seat as the calming effects of the water infiltrate your cells and calmness washes over you.
BOATING AND HEALTH
It is well documented that boating is good for physical and mental health. Any outdoor activity, namely boating in the fresh air, is good for your health. The sunshine improves your mood, the activity gets the heart rate up and good endorphins flow through the body, allowing for an increased sense of pleasure and improved health.
MAKING FRIENDS
The boating community is a great platform to make friends. Boaters in general are very friendly. If you’re new to boating, it won’t be long before others boaters introduce themselves and offer assistance. That’s what boaters do.
YOU’RE NEVER TOO OLD
Anyone can take up boating. If you’re retired and want to get into boating, there is nothing stopping you. If you’re young and want to join the boating fraternity, there is nothing stopping you. The boat crew also encompasses old and young, teens and tots, all having a good time. Take the dig along if you like. That’s the beauty of boating.
FAMILY CONNECTIONS
Boating dramatically improves family relationships as families that boat together spend much more quality time together and build stronger bonds. Boating reduces everyone’s reliance on cell phones, games and all the other forms of social media and allows us to interact person to person. Boating allows families to enjoy their time together.
ROMANTIC SUNSETS
There is really no better way to watch the sun set than from the deck of a boat with a loved one. Bring on the romance!
GET SOME EXERCISE
Don’t forget the water skis, wakeboards, towing tubes, goggles and snorkels, kayaks, knee boards and other accessories that will dramatically increase the fun factor and also give you a good workout … and a good wipeout, if you’re not careful.
WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
What better way to eat than catching your own supper! Fishing and boating go hand in hand. Fry up your catch in the galley below deck and you’ll never eat fresher fish. When your kids say “What’s for supper,” smile at them with your line in the water and simply say, “Fish!”
BACK TO NATURE
Mother Nature always extends her hand to us to enjoy the outdoors and what better way to connect with her than from a boat. It’s literally like a breath of fresh air for your soul when you go boating. It’s a humbling and truly satisfying experience to view the wonderful aspects of nature that the ocean offers us, from scenic views to wonderous underwater life.
NO MORE STRESS
Studies suggest that regular boating helps reduce stress and by reducing stress, it reduces our propensity to sickness and promotes health. With the reduction in stress comes a longer, healthier and more rewarding life that follows. Boating is a great lifestyle. It offers excellent fun, exercise and a complete destress for the entire family. Isn’t it time you put your boat back on the water, it’s already been a week since you last did?
